Pervenous pacing of the specialized conducting system in man. His bundle and A-V nodal stimulation.

چکیده
His bundle electrograms were recorded and A-V junction pacing was achieved in 30 patients by a pervenous electrode catheter technic. His bundle pacing was achieved in 26, and A-V node pacing in five patients. Conduction time from atrium to the His bundle (A-H time) and His bundle to ventricular activation (H-V time) were measured. During His bundle pacing, the pacing impulse to ventricular activation time (PI-R)

Determination of His-Purkinje refractoriness in man with His bundle pacing.
Consistent His bundle pacing was accomplished in one of 60 consecutive patients. Intracardiac electrophysiologic studies in this patient revealed rapid atrioventricular nodal conduction (AH = 55 msec). While the relative refractory period of the His-Purkinje system as a whole determined by His bundle pacing (using the extrastimulus technique) was identical to that determined by atrial pacing, c...
متن کاملStudies on ventriculo-atrial conduction and the reentry phenomenon.
SUMMARY Ventriculo-atrial conduction and the reentry phenomenon was studied during right ventricular and bundle of His pacing in the intact dog heart. Bipolar electrogram recordings were obtained from the sinus node, Bachman's bundle, the right and left atria, the bundle of His, and the ventricle. Retrograde conduction resulted in a specific change in the sequence of atrial activation. The reco...

a slow diphasic wave occurring between the atrial electrogram (P) and the H potential. It is characterized by slurring or notching on the upstroke. The H potential, as previously described, is a biphasic or triphasic wave of 15 to 20-msec duration. The RB potential is a fast biphasic wave of 10 to 20-msec duration occurring between the H potential and the Q wave. During single atrial pacing and...
متن کاملManifest and concealed reentry: a mechanism of A-V nodal Wenckebach in man.
In five patients, bundle of His electrograms were recorded during right ventricular pacing at various cycle lengths. In all patients, as the cycle length of stimulation was decreased, the pattern of retrograde conduction proceeded from 1:1 retrograde conduction to retrograde Wenckebach with or without manifest reentry, to retrograde Wenckebach cycles with concealed reentry. The requisite condit...
